This is a carefully composed blended whiskey in which pot still and grain whiskey come together. Pot still whiskey is a style of whiskey made only in Ireland that uses both malted and unmalted barley in the production process.
A triple distillation takes place, which contributes to the smooth character of the Jameson. This is followed by a minimum of four years of maturation, so that the whiskey is provided with extra body and complexity. Jameson whiskey has an extremely smooth taste with light floral, sweet and spicy influences as the basis.
